Become a Master Mason
Membership appeals to men of every race, religion, sect or opinion, who meet three basic qualifications: Good Moral and Social Character, A Belief in a Supreme Being and Residency in Massachusetts (unless specially waived).
Getting Started
An Ancient Tradition
Many men have wondered why they were never asked to join our fraternity. For generations a Mason could not ask a good man to become a Mason, so many fathers waited patiently, hoping that their sons and friends would ask that simple question, “So, how do I join?” Massachusetts Masons can now invite a man to join, and you have received this pamphlet because a Master Mason believes you have what it takes and hopes you will consider joining him in becoming a part of the future of Freemasonry.
Be Part of History
The Grand Lodge of Massachusetts is reaching out to those qualified men who would like to join our ranks – to become a member of an organization whose members and principles have shaped our country and our history – but who may be unaware how to join or fear they may not have the time.
